Corporate Culture
Transamerica Reinsurance associates work in the heart of Uptown Charlotte in the Transamerica Square
building, which features office, retail and residential space. We have free
onsite parking and a year-round business casual environment. We employ
approximately 400 people, which include actuaries, underwriters, business
analysts, computer and information technology specialists, attorneys,
accountants, client account managers and experts in product development,
marketing and finance.
Our employee-led Transamerica Reinsurance Connection plans associate and family
events and organizes the company's volunteer efforts. In 2007, Transamerica Reinsurance was honored
to be named Volunteer of the Year by Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina.
Transamerica Reinsurance is committed to providing our associates with continuous
professional development and learning opportunities through a variety of
training and development initiatives, professional certifications,
developmental assignments, LOMA designations and self-directed study. We offer
recognition and incentives for continuing education including educational
