Senior AEGON leaders of six different divisions serve on the program's Steering Committee. The group provides philosophical guidance, participatory involvement and oversight of candidate progress.
Over forty senior divisional leaders have supported the LDP through one or more of the following:

- taught classes as part of the LDP curriculum
- sponsored one or more of nearly ninety rotational assignments
- mentored close to fifty program candidates
- directly managed dozens of candidates rotational experiences
- helped candidates develop an extensive network of key contacts through the six participating divisions
